‘Showing the power of ChatGPT integrated in an e-commerce chatbot flow'

Situation

Current chatbots work on the basis of “ if-then” statements, resulting in confusion about wording and denominations, resulting in poor performance.​


Result

By integrating chatGTP into a chatbot, we have been able to attain contextual understanding, resulting in near-human like results and versatility in responses. ​

The creation of 12 e-commerce functions offering a fully fledged e-commerce flow in the chatbot.​


Using Azure OpenAI (the technology behind ChatGPT), we built a chat-based sales assistant app for the iconic lingerie and fashion brand Victoria’s Secret, finally bridging the gap between the data stored in e-commerce systems and how humans communicate.​

AI-enabled conversational commerce is a great driver of revenue and customer satisfaction. But the technology has many applications beyond that. For example, it will completely change how we create user documentation. With the chat bot determining the actual content a user will see, completeness and structure will be more important than the specific wording.​

The e-commerce chatbot we built for Victoria’s Secret is a great example how we can integrate different data sources and endpoints for an enhanced customer journey.
